Rule 3.100 Payment of filing fees by credit or debit card

Courts in California allow you to pay filing fees with a credit or debit card, but only if that specific court has been approved to accept card payments. Not every courthouse accepts cards, so you cannot assume this option is available everywhere.

Before you show up to file paperwork, check with your local court to find out which payment methods they accept. If your court does accept cards, you can use that option instead of bringing cash or a check.
