When someone testifies at a trial, all parties in the case have the right to be there and hear what the witness says. No party can be secretly excluded while a witness gives testimony.

Each party also has the right to question that witness. If you are part of a case, you can choose to attend and cross-examine any witness who testifies. The choice is yours, but the opportunity must be available to you.
