Rule 7.1 Probate Rules

The probate rules in this section of California's court rules cover cases dealing with wills, estates, guardianships, and conservatorships. These are the rules courts follow when someone dies and their property needs to be handled, or when a person needs someone else to manage their affairs.

If you are involved in one of these types of cases, the rules in this section apply to you. Lawyers and judges call them the "Probate Rules" for short.
