Rule 155 When Creditor may Withdraw Original

If you are a creditor and you filed an original document with the court, you can ask the court for permission to take it back. When you do, you would leave behind a copy of that document in its place.

However, the court can step in and require that the original document stay on file if the receiver or another interested party asks for it. At that point, you would no longer be able to swap out the original for a copy.
