Rule 161 Duty to File Reports

When a court appoints a receiver to manage a company, that person must submit a report to the court within 3 months of starting the job. The report must cover what the receiver has done and the current financial state of the company.

After that first report, the receiver must keep filing similar reports every year for as long as the receivership continues. This keeps the court informed about how the company is being managed over time.
