Rule 18 Joinder of Claims

When you sue someone in court, you do not have to limit yourself to just one complaint against them. You can bring all of your claims against that person at the same time in the same case.

This applies whether you are the one who started the lawsuit or you are responding with your own claims. For example, if someone sues you and you want to sue them back, you can raise every claim you have against them at once, not just one.

This rule saves time and money by letting everyone settle all their disputes in a single case instead of filing multiple separate lawsuits.
