Rule 2 One form of action

In Delaware Superior Court, all civil cases are simply called a "civil action." There is only one type of case name used, no matter what kind of dispute you are bringing to court.

This keeps things simple. Whether you are suing someone over a contract, an injury, or any other civil matter, your case is filed the same way under the same name.
