This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
This rule no longer exists. It used to set the date when the Alabama Rules of Juvenile Procedure would start being used, but courts got rid of it in 2009 because it was no longer needed.
Once a rule takes effect and courts have been using it for a while, keeping an "effective date" rule around serves no real purpose. That's why Rule 30, along with a few other rules covering similar administrative matters, was officially removed from the rule book on January 9, 2009.
If you're looking at Alabama juvenile court procedures today, you can skip this rule entirely. It has no legal effect and won't impact your case in any way.
