Rule 1 Title and Scope

These rules shall be known as the Appellate Court Rules and cited as __________ ACR. These rules govern procedure in appeals to the appellate division from the trial division, the land and titles division, and the district court and in proceedings in the appellate division for review or enforcement of orders of administrative agencies, boards, commissions and officers of American Samoa. When these rules provide for the making of a motion or application in the trial court, the procedure for making such motion or application shall be in accordance with the practice of the trial court. Reference to “judge” in these rules means a justice of the High Court.
