Rule 3.1142 Stay of driving license suspension

If you want a court to pause the suspension of your driver's license while your case is ongoing, you cannot just ask for it. You must include a copy of your driving record from the DMV when you file your request.

You can get your driving record directly from the California Department of Motor Vehicles. The court needs this document to consider your request, so leaving it out could cause your request to be denied or delayed.
