Rule 1.44 Electronically produced forms

If you need to file a Judicial Council form with the court, you do not have to use the original printed form. You can use a copy made from a computer and printer instead.

The printed copy just needs to be clear enough to read. Your printer must produce text at a resolution of at least 300 dots per inch, which is the standard quality for most basic home and office printers.
