Rule 2.103 Size, quality, and color of papers

When you file documents with a California trial court, they must be printed on standard 8.5 by 11 inch paper. This is the same size as regular printer paper you would find at any office supply store.

If you are filing paper documents (not electronic ones), the paper must be white or off-white, not shiny, and at least 20-pound weight. This is the standard paper sold in most stores, so you likely already have the right kind at home or work.
