§ 624 [Tenant Estopped from Denying Landlord's Title]

When you rent a place from a landlord, you are accepting that the landlord owns or has the right to rent that property to you. By agreeing to the rental, you are legally treated as having recognized the landlord's ownership rights at the time you moved in.
