2025 Advisory Committee Notes Former Local Rule 2002-5 was abrogated, along with Local Form 2002-5. The clerk will maintain instructions for how attorneys should file a request for notice, notice of appearance, and withdrawal of notice and notice of appearance on the court's website at www.mnb.uscourts.gov. Under Fed. R. Bank. P. 9010(b), an "attorney appearing for a party in a case must file a notice of appearance . . . ." Accordingly, under Local Rule 9010-1(a), an attorney filing a notice of appearance to appear for a party must be admitted to the court's bar. Former Local Rule 2002-5(b)(2) was abrogated to ensure consistency with that requirement.
