Rule 9029-2. Rules – Adoption and Amendment The bankruptcy judges are authorized to make and amend rules of practice and procedure in accordance with Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 9029(a).

2025 Advisory Committee Notes Local Rule 9029-4 was renumbered to Local Rule 9029-2 and amended to allow the bankruptcy judges to amend any local rule, including local rules that relate to the reference, bankruptcy court authority, or appeals. This change was made with the approval and understanding of the district court. Accordingly, references indicating certain Local Rules were promulgated by the district court have been removed.
