Local Rule Rule 9006-2: Continuances

Rule 9006-2. Continuances Before seeking a continuance, a party should seek the consent of all parties interested in the motion. If all parties will not consent, a party may file a motion to continue. The motion must state the reason for the continuance, whether a continuance was previously granted, and whether it is opposed. A continuance is not effective unless the court approves it in an order.
