Local Rule LBR 5005-5: Sealed Documents

LBR 5005-5 Sealed Documents A motion to file documents under seal must be filed electronically. As soon as practicable after the motion to seal is filed, the documents sought to be filed under seal are to be delivered to the Clerk in a sealed envelope with a copy of the motion to seal and the notice of electronic filing affixed to the outside of the envelope. The court will issue an order on the motion to seal and, if granted, an informational entry will be made on the case docket indicating that sealed documents have been filed.
