D.N.J. LBR 2002-1. Certification of Service; Change of Address
(a) Certification of service. A party seeking relief from the court must file Local Form Certification of Service.
(b) Change of address. A party changing its address during a case or proceeding must file Local Form Change of Address in each affected case or proceeding.
2025 Comment For a Chapter 11 Complex Case, parties should be guided by Section IV(b)(iv) of the Chapter 11 Complex Case Procedures.
2021 Comment This rule is amended to clarify that a separate Change of Address form must be filed in each main case and adversary proceeding where the address of the party needs to be updated.
2015 Comment This Rule is new. Use of the local form required under subdivision (a) simplifies the court's review of service.
Subdivision (b) provides a uniform method for informing the court, a trustee, and any affected party of a change of address.
