D.N.J. LBR 2014-3. Alternative Procedure for a Flat Fee in a Chapter 13 Case In a Chapter 13 case, the court may authorize the retention of a professional on a flat fee basis and waive the requirements of Local Bankruptcy Rule 2016-1 if the fee does not exceed $1,000 and the retention order provides that payment may be made only on satisfactory completion of services.
2025 Comment The amendments to this Rule are stylistic to conform with the Bankruptcy Rules.
2015 Comment This Rule is new. A fee application is no longer required in certain Chapter 13 flat fee cases.
