LOCAL RULE 7001-1: ADVERSARY PROCEEDINGS – GENERAL Extensions of Time. An extension of time to respond to a pleading may be granted only pursuant to a motion demonstrating exceptional circumstances, or consent order that proposes an extension or agreement between counsel, and filed with the Court prior to expiration of the original response deadline.
Notes:
(2022) Paragraph (a) was amended to remove reference to Chambers Guidelines and portions of Chambers Guidelines were moved to this rule to provide procedure prior to issuance of a scheduling order.
(2023) Paragraph (a) was removed. Paragraph (b) was amended to remove the certification of extension of time procedure.
