Local Rule RULE 7026-1: Discovery

RULE 7026-1 Discovery A. No motion relative to discovery, including motions for protective orders, may be filed unless accompanied by a certificate of counsel for the moving party stating that counsel have conferred in person or by telephone in a good faith effort to resolve amicably the issues without court intervention or stating that opposing counsel has refused to so confer after reasonable notice. Counsel for the moving party must arrange the conference. If the court finds that opposing counsel has willfully refused to meet and confer, or, having met, willfully refused or failed to confer in good faith, the court may impose such sanctions as it deems proper.
B. The scope and timing of disclosures under FRBP 7026 adopting FRCP 26 will be as directed by the court in the minute entry or order issued after the pretrial conference.
