Rule 6007-1 Disposition of the Books and Records of a Chapter 7 Debtor Unless otherwise ordered by the court or required by the Executive Office for United States Trustees, a chapter 7 trustee may dispose of the debtor's books and records in the trustee's possession 60 days after the entry of the order closing the estate. Notice of the proposed disposition of the debtor's books and records must be provided in the trustee's final report.
