Rule 7004-1 Service on an Insured Depository Institution Unless one of the exceptions set forth in F.R.Bankr.P. 7004(h)(1)-(3) is applicable, service on an insured depository institution will be presumed proper if the summons and complaint in an adversary proceeding or a motion governed by F.R.Bankr.P. 9014 is made by serving a copy of the paper by certified mail addressed to either (a) an officer of the institution in care of the resident agent of the institution, or (b) the chief executive officer of the institution at the institution's principal place of business.
