RULE 8007-1. MOTIONS FOR STAY Motions for stay pending appeal should first be filed with the Bankruptcy Court to be presented to the Bankruptcy Judge for approval of a supersedeas bond, or other relief pending the appeal. Motions for stay that request relief from the Appellate Court must be filed directly with the Appellate Court once the appeal has been docketed with the Appellate Court. If a stay has been granted by the Appellate Court, it shall be incumbent upon the movant to immediately file a copy of the Appellate Court order with the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court.
