Rule 9029-1 Local Rules - General
(a) Scope These local rules govern practice and procedure in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington, and shall be cited as "LBR-__".
(b) Applicability Unless otherwise indicated, each of these local rules applies to all cases commenced under the Bankruptcy Code, contested matters and adversary proceedings.
(c) Meaning of Words and Phrases The definition and construction of words and phrases in the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure govern the use of those words and phrases in these rules.
