5005-1 Electronic Filing and Transmittal of Documents

(a) All documents in any case or proceeding shall be filed electronically.

(1) Documents filed at the court shall be filed in the Clerk's office during business hours posted on the Clerk's website, www.lamb.uscourts.gov.

(2) Documents may be filed at any time from a location other than the Clerk's office.

(3) The Clerk shall not accept or file documents submitted by electronic mail and fax transmission without prior leave of court.

(b) Use of an electronic filing account shall constitute the filer's agreement to be subject to all requirements in these local rules and the Administrative Procedures Manual.

(c) If the CM/ECF System is not in operation when a document must be filed to preserve a right or claim, the person desiring to file shall arrange with the Clerk, during normal business hours, for non-electronic filing.

(d) Any party filing documents electronically shall register an electronic filing account with the court using the procedures for registering an account found in the Administrative Procedures Manual.
