Local Rule Administrative Order 2025-03: Administrative Order Concerning Federal Government Shutdown
Bankr. N.D. Ala. — General rule
Administrative Order: 2025-03 ALL DIVISIONS ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER CONCERNING FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN Certain agencies that appear before our Court may be subject to the current federal government shutdown. This could affect the ability of the federal agencies to take record action or appear prior to the deadlines in cases and proceedings pending in our Court. The Court deems it appropriate to extend the time for such responses that have or will come due during the shutdown.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the time is enlarged for any federal agency affected by the current federal government shutdown to take record action, including filing claims, within seven (7) days following the day after the shutdown ceases.
