RULE 1019-1 CONVERSION BY ONE DEBTOR IN A JOINT CASE If one of two debtors in a joint case files a notice of conversion or files a motion to convert that is granted, and if all required filing fees have been paid, the clerk must divide the case into two separate cases and assign a case number to the new case. Within 14 days after the case is divided, each debtor must file all necessary amendments to the schedules and statement of financial affairs.
