RULE 7012-1. RESPONSIVE PLEADINGS Extensions of Time. Upon request filed within the time permitted to serve an answer or responsive pleading to a complaint, the Clerk is authorized to grant the defendant the first extension of time, not to exceed fourteen (14) days, within which to respond to the complaint. Subsequent requests for extension of time shall contain a statement that counsel for plaintiff has been consulted regarding the requested extension and that the plaintiff either consents or objects.
