Local Rule 9011-1: ATTORNEYS - DUTIES

9011-1 ATTORNEYS - DUTIES Failure to comply with these Local Rules may result in the imposition of sanctions against any party, counsel, other professional, or other fiduciary appearing before the Court. Upon notice and hearing sanctions may be imposed by the Court. Sanctions may include, but are not limited to:

(a) All or part of a pleading or other document being stricken or a defense being disallowed;

(b) Stay of further proceedings;

(c) All or part of an order being vacated;

(d) Dismissal of the case or adversary proceeding;

(e) Imposition of costs and expenses, including Court reporting fees and attorney's fees;

(f) Denial of confirmation of a Chapter 11, 12, or 13 plan;

(g) Reduction of attorney's fees; and/or

(h) A requirement for the completion of continuing education.
