9001–1 DEFINITIONS The following words used in these Local Rules have the meanings indicated:

(a) "Clerk" means the clerk of the bankruptcy court or an authorized deputy clerk.

(b) "Code" means title 11 of the United States Code.

(c) "Debtor" includes a pro se debtor. If a Local Rule requires an action by the debtor, other than a signature of the debtor, and the debtor is represented by an attorney, it is presumed that the action will be taken through the debtor's attorney.

(d) "ECF System" means the electronic case filing system of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

(e) "ECF Procedures" means the Southern District of Ohio Administrative Procedures for Electronic Case Filing.

(f) "File" means file with the clerk of the bankruptcy court.

(g) "Local Rules" or "LBR" mean these Local Rules of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

(h) "Paper" includes documents filed in electronic form.

(i) "Rule" means a Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure.

(j) "Service" means service in compliance with LBR 9013-3 unless otherwise specified.
