Local Rule LBR 7090: Settlement of Adversary Proceedings

LBR 7090: Settlement of Adversary Proceedings Counsel must notify the Court immediately upon reaching a settlement of an adversary proceeding. If, by the date set for trial, the attorneys have not submitted an order disposing of the proceeding, then counsel may be required to appear and state the settlement on the record. In any event, unless otherwise ordered by the Court, counsel must submit the appropriate order within 14 days after notifying the Court of a settlement. The failure to submit an appropriate order within 14 days or as otherwise ordered may be cause for dismissal.
