Local Rule LBR 9016: Use of Courtroom Electronic Equipment

LBR 9016: Use of Courtroom Electronic Equipment Any person who intends to use electronic equipment in the courtroom during a hearing or trial must become familiar with the Court's systems prior to the scheduled court appearance. At least 2 business days before the hearing or trial, any person who intends to use electronic equipment in the courtroom shall (i) notify the assigned judge's staff of the intended use; and (ii) contact the Information Technology Department of the Clerk's office to request appropriate training. Anyone who fails to comply with this Rule may be subject to sanctions, including paying the cost to repair any Court system damaged by the person's use.
