TNWB LBR 1001-4 ATTORNEYS – DISCIPLINE The standards of professional conduct for attorneys practicing before this Court shall include the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct and the Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee (which include Guidelines for Professional Courtesy and Conduct). For a willful violation of those standards or these Rules, an attorney may be disciplined by the Court. Discipline may include a fine, an order to attend continuing legal education courses, a temporary suspension from practice before the Court, and, in extreme cases, a permanent prohibition against practicing before the Court. If any attorney is convicted of or pleads nolo contendere to a felony or is disbarred from practice in any state or federal court, such attorney's right to practice before the Court shall be suspended immediately and may be restored only after application and hearing in accordance with the procedures referenced in the Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee
