Local Rule 7041-1 Dismissal of Adversary Proceedings A plaintiff proposing to voluntarily dismiss a complaint (or count within a complaint) objecting to the debtor's discharge must give at least 21 days' written notice of a hearing on the proposed voluntary dismissal to the United States trustee, the trustee, and all creditors or parties in interest. The notice shall fully and clearly state any consideration paid or promised to be paid by the debtor to the plaintiff in connection with such dismissal and the deadline to object to the dismissal. If no timely objections are filed, it is within the judge's discretion to hold or cancel the hearing.
