RULE 38.1 EQUITABLE RELIEF OR JURY DEMAND The plaintiff, in every civil action in which the complaint prays for any equitable relief, must mark upon the face of the complaint: "Equitable relief is sought;" and if a demand for jury trial under Fed. R. Civ. P. 38 is endorsed upon a pleading, the title of the pleading must include the words "and demand for jury trial."
