1. Designation of Appellant in Cross-Appeals. If parties agree to modify the designation of appellant pursuant to FRAP 28.1(b), counsel are expected to advise the clerk in writing, upon commencement of the briefing schedule, which party will file the first brief.

2. Color of Covers of Briefs in Cross-Appeals. In cross-appeals the color of the covers of briefs shall be as follows: brief of appellant -- blue brief of appellee-cross-appellant -- red brief of cross-appellee and reply brief for appellant -- yellow reply brief of cross-appellant -- gray amicus -- green appellate intervenor -- green If supplemental briefs are allowed to be filed by order of the court, the color of their covers shall be tan.
