I.O.P. 5.6: Filing of Opinions
Local Appellate Rules and Internal Operating Procedures of the Third Circuit — I.O.P. Chapter 5. Opinions
If, 8 calendar days (10 days in August) after the opinion is transmitted for circulation, insufficient votes for rehearing are received, and the authoring judge transmits the original typescript to the clerk for filing and notifies the author of any separate opinion to do likewise. The failure of a panel member to concur or dissent or to file a timely opinion does not delay the filing of the majority opinion or the entry of the judgment of this court.
