D. Alaska — General rule
Section 1.03 Definitions For purposes of this Plan:
"Jury Selection Process" will be deemed to include all activities associated with the master and qualified jury wheels relating to the random selection, qualification, summoning, and service of grand and petit jurors.
"Chief Judge" means the Chief Judge of this District, or any supervising judge appointed by the Chief Judge.
"Presiding Judge" means the judge presiding over a particular case.
"Clerk" and "Clerk of Court" means the Clerk of this District Court, any authorized deputy clerk, or any other person authorized by the Chief Judge to assist the Clerk in the performance of duties under this Plan.
