Section 4.03 Petit Jury Term– One Day Appearance/One Trial It is the policy of the District of Alaska that all prospective petit jurors serve "one appearance" or "one trial" during a four-week term of service. Petit jurors appearing in the United States District Court for the District of Alaska shall, upon completion of their "one appearance" or "one trial" service, be released from further jury service obligations for a period of not less than two years. The Court reserves the right to modify the provisions of this petit jury policy when the interests of justice so require.
