D. Alaska — General rule
Section 4.06 Term of Regular Grand Jury Each grand jury shall serve until discharged by the Chief Judge, but no regular grand jury shall serve more than 12 months unless the Court extends the service of the grand jury upon a determination that such extension is in the public interest, in accordance with Rule 6(g) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.
