RULE 80.1 USE OF TRANSCRIPTS Absent prior court authorization, only certified transcripts of prior sworn testimony ("Testimonial Transcripts"), and not unofficial real-time transcripts of such testimony, may be quoted from in arguments to the court or in filings with the court. Court approval is required to quote from a Testimonial Transcript to the jury, and absent good cause shown such approval will only be granted for quotations from certified transcripts. Any Testimonial Transcripts quoted from or attached as an exhibit to any pleading must contain the title page, quoted material, as well as the court reporter's certificate page authenticating such proceedings. Material filed in violation of this rule may be disregarded by the court, and quotations made in violation of this rule may be ordered stricken and disregarded by the court. * * * Adopted 4/15/20.
