Rule 16.8 Bankruptcy
(a) Reference to Bankruptcy Court All cases under Title 11 and any or all proceedings arising under Title 11 or arising in or related to cases under Title 11 will be referred to the bankruptcy judges of this District under 28 U.S.C. § 157(a).
(b) Jury Trial Each bankruptcy judge for this District is specially designated to conduct jury trials under 28 U.S.C. § 157(e).
(c) Bankruptcy Appellate Panel The United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the First Circuit is authorized to hear and determine bankruptcy appeals originating in the District of Maine under 28 U.S.C. § 158(b)(6).
