LCR 32-2. DISCLOSURE OF PRESENTENCE INVESTIGATION REPORTS, SUPERVISION RECORDS OF THE UNITED STATES PROBATION OFFICE, AND TESTIMONY OF THE PROBATION OFFICER

(a) Presentence investigation reports are confidential court documents. Access to presentence investigation reports is limited to: (1) the sentencing court; (2) the defendant and defense counsel; (3) the government; and (4) other courts, probation offices, and correctional institutions as authorized by law or court order.

(b) Supervision records of the United States Probation Office are confidential. Such records may be disclosed only by court order.

(c) A probation officer may be required to testify at a sentencing hearing upon order of the court.
