LCR 46-2. QUALIFICATION OF SURETY Every surety on an appearance bond in a criminal case must qualify before the clerk. Any surety company must be authorized to do business in the State of Nevada and must file with the clerk a current certificate of authority to do business in the state. A personal surety must file with the clerk a written justification under oath setting forth the surety's assets and liabilities in full.
