LCR 46-3. DEPOSIT OF MONEY OR UNITED STATES OBLIGATION IN LIEU OF SURETY In lieu of surety on any appearance bond required or permitted in a criminal case, a party may deposit cash, certified check, or United States obligations with the clerk in the amount required. The clerk must hold such deposit until the court orders the release of the deposit.
