LCR 7-1. NOTICING THE COURT ON RELATED CASES
(a) When a party is aware that a criminal case pending before this court is related to another criminal or civil case pending before this court, the party must promptly file a notice of related cases.
(b) The notice must include: (1) the case name and docket number of the related case; (2) the name of the judge assigned to the related case; and (3) a brief explanation of the relationship between the cases.
(c) The clerk will bring the notice to the attention of the judges assigned to the related cases.
