LPR 1-18b. OPINION OF COUNSEL DEFENSES Not later than 30 days after the court's claim construction ruling, each party that intends to rely upon an opinion of counsel as a defense to a claim of willful infringement must produce the opinion and any related communications and documents. Any party relying on an opinion of counsel as a defense must identify the attorney who provided the opinion.
