LR 26-2. TIME FOR COMPLETION OF DISCOVERY WHEN NO SCHEDULING ORDER IS ENTERED Unless the court orders otherwise, if no scheduling order has been entered, discovery must be completed within 180 days after the first defendant answers or appears. "Completed" means that all discovery must be initiated a sufficient time in advance to be completed by the deadline.
