LSR 3-4. PETITIONS FOR WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS; CASE MANAGEMENT
(a) Upon the filing of a petition for writ of habeas corpus, the court will conduct a preliminary review of the petition to determine whether it should be dismissed, an answer should be required, or other action should be taken.
(b) Unless the court orders otherwise, the respondent must file an answer to the petition within 60 days of service of the petition.
(c) Unless the court orders otherwise, the petitioner may file a reply within 30 days of service of the answer.
